In addition to the delicious dinner, this year a program was added for entertainment. This came complete with poem readings, children singing, piano solos and duets, and reminiscing about old times.
After the program we had a visit from Santa Claus. The youngest kids all had the opportunity to sit on his lap and tell them their wishes. The picture above is Santa laughing at the absurd request by my wonderful nephew. (He asked for a car.)
The night was a huge success and I loved being able to spend some time with my family and visit with them. I do love my family and cherish these great times.
