A couple weeks ago, I was having a discussion with one of my fellow FC employees. I had mentioned that over the weekend I had made some chocolate chip cookies. Without hesitation, my coworker said to me: "I make the best chocolate chip cookies". I mentioned that mine are pretty hard to beat. Which she followed up with "Prove It!"
What started out as a little friendly ribbing between friends turned into a full-fledged contest. We sent out fliers and talked it up for about a week. Today was the day of reckoning. We had 5 entrants into the "Cookie Off" (6 if you count milk). Voting was kept to an hour, we handed out ballots and everyone go to vote for their favorites.
What a great time we had. (We don't know the results yet, the votes have not been counted.) It is the great coworkers I have that makes coming into work so enjoyable. I am definitely grateful for the great friendships I have with my coworkers and even more thankful that they are just great people!
