Gratitude #2 : Listening to a Prophet's Voice

Several weeks ago I went to the LDS Church's web-site and signed up to hopefully get tickets to attend the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. It didn't seem like it was too much longer and I had friends mention they had received an email saying they were drawn to receive tickets. I didn't hear anything and assumed that my name had not been drawn. You win some, you lose some right? Well, a couple of weeks ago, much to my surprise, I received an envelope in the mail complete with tickets! I was elated!!!

The devotional was last night. (12/5/2010) AND it was amazing. Each of the first presidency shared the message of Christmas. While listening to them you could hear the Love they have for our Savior. They reminded us of the true meaning of the Christmas Season and also reminded us to think of others during this time of year. I left the Conference Center uplifted and motivated. How blessed we are to have a Savior that loves us and gave his life for us. I am grateful to know we have a Prophet that teaches us of our Savior!
