Gratitude #11 : Flarp

Commence laughter in 3.....2.....1.....Go ahead, I don't mind. Last week I discovered this noisy little treat when I was trying to find some prizes for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest. What I didn't realize, that it was going to be a hit. I heard from a majority of the recipients of the gook and they told me how much they liked. No, it wasn't just children, it was adults.

I have to admit, with it sitting on the corner of my desk, more than one time during the past week I have picked it up and chuckled like a 12 year-old boy. Since I received such positive feedback, I picked up more for the Christmas Party on Friday. Each participant in the ugly sweater contest received one. After the party was over, I had a few people come and ask me if they could have the leftovers. Of course I was willing to oblige. Lest you think that all the people providing me with the feedback are men, you would in fact be wrong. Just as many of my female coworkers have thought it was a fun toy. Whether you are a fun finance person, stuffy accountant type, or even a proper female, this is definitely something you might find entertaining. After all, don't we all have a little 12 year-old still in us?
